After claiming your business page, you’ll be able to:

To begin the claim process, click the “Claim your business” button. Follow the easy steps to find your business and create your business user account.

To verify that you are the owner of your business, Lelp may call the number listed on your business page and prompt you to enter a verification code. Please ensure you are at your place of business to answer this phone call.

B – How do I claim a business page?

Claiming your first business page

The easiest way to claim your business page is to search for it at listing page. Click to Claim Now, Fill in your required information to authenticate. Our verification department will authenticate as soon as possible.

If there is no option to claim the page:

  • It may have already been claimed by someone else
  • The business page may be recently submitted and pending approval
If you aren’t able to claim your business on Lelp using email verification, you’ll receive a prompt to submit a report to our Support team, which will include information about your business and the time of the attempt that they can use to assist you.

Claiming another location

Once you have a business account and have claimed a business page, you can claim additional pages in Lelp for Business Owners.

  1. Go to the Account Settings page
  2. Go to the Additional Options section and click Add another location

Respecting your legal rights

We support the protection of your reputation and intellectual property rights. We do not edit, pre-vet or review any third party material displayed on our website. We operate a notice and take down procedure regarding such material. In furtherance of this policy, we have established the procedures below to enable you to report any items that you believe constitute copyright/ trademark infringement, or which you believe defame you.

Upon receipt of appropriate notification as set out below, and where we deem it appropriate, we may take down or disable access to the material that is claimed to be infringing. Please be aware that providing false or misleading information in the notification of claim may result in civil and/ or criminal liability.

Notice and procedure for making claims of copyright infringement

NOTE: THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION IS PROVIDED EXCLUSIVELY FOR NOTIFYING US THAT YOUR COPYRIGHTED MATERIAL MAY HAVE BEEN INFRINGED. ALL OTHER ENQUIRIES WILL NOT RECEIVE A RESPONSE THROUGH THIS PROCESS.

If you believe that your copyright has been infringed on our website, your notification (for any image) should include the following:

  1. The location (e.g. URL address or directory name) at which the image is displayed, including a copy of the relevant image;
  2. The name of the author of the image;
  3. Confirmation that the author of the image;
  4. If not, please explain the basis on which the image qualifies for copyright protection on Lelp.net;
  5. The date on which the relevant image was created; and
  6. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, or email address.

If you believe that your trademark has been infringed, your written notification must include the following:

  1. Identification of the trademark or trademarks claimed to have been infringed, including the trademark registration number;
  2. Identification of all the material that is claimed to be infringing or to be the subject of infringing activity, and information reasonably sufficient to permit us to locate the material; and
  3. Information reasonably sufficient to permit us to contact you, such as an address, telephone number, or email address.

If you believe that any content on our website contains statements that are defamatory to you, please proceed to Make a Claim.

Repeated claims

We may suspend or cancel your access to our website if you repeatedly violate this Policy and/or repeatedly infringe the rights of others.

D – Make a claim

  • A notice of complaint is only required where you believe the blog post or page contains defamatory content.
  • To proceed with your complaint in accordance with the Defamation Act, we will need specific information from you in regards to the content you are reporting. You will be submitting a Notice of Complaint to us.
  • Warning. Please carefully consider the fact before making a claim (and take legal advice, if in doubt), as any false, misleading or inaccurate information provided by you, may expose you to liability.
